As the fourth wave of the coronavirus intensified further in Pakistan, the country recorded more than 100 deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the figures issued by the National Command and Operation Centre on Thursday, 102 people died of Covid in the last 24 hours.
The country has recorded at least 80 deaths for the third consecutive day.
The positivity rate was 8.30 per cent.
Out of the 59,397 tests conducted on Wednesday, 4,934 people tested positive for the virus, as per the NCOC.
Pakistan ranked on 29th number across the world in Covid positive cases with the total of 1,085,294 people infected with the virus, according to the Johns Hopkins University data,
