People have taken to Twitter to condemn reports of missing journalists Imran Shafqat and Amir Mir as it's not clear what charges they're facing.
According to a report on Aaj TV, the FIA says they have picked up the journalists.
Shafqat runs his own YouTube channel Tellings and his last video was uploaded early this morning. It was a "baithak" style Vlog about several of the week's big stories like Asim Bajwa's resignation as well as Firdaus Ashiq Awan's.
Mir is a veteran journalist and author and currently runs a digital news outlet called Googly News. He is also Geo TV Hamid Mir's brother.
Hamid tweeted the news of his disappearance saying FIA Cyber Crimes Wing took him into their custody early today in Lahore.
News of their disappearance set social media ablaze with several prominent rights activists, journalists and politicians appealing for their release and reminding that journalism is not a crime.
Below is a selection of some of the tweets on this issue:
The journalist Absar Alam, who himself was shot earlier this year, took to Twitter to raise concerns.
Geo is the only media outlet so far that's reporting that the men are in FIA custody.
