The Sindh Health Department told Dawn on Monday that it would vaccinate people without a computerised national identity card (CNIC).
According to report, the health department said people will have to show their B-forms or their educational documents to get themselves vaccinated.
The report quoted Sindh Health Department’s media coordinator, Mehar Khursheed, as saying "citizens can get their biometrics done at the vaccination centre and register the cell phone number they are currently using."
This allows the government to track how many people are vaccinated.
Dawn reported that more than 2,000 citizens in Karachi have already been administered the coronavirus vaccine without having to show their CNICs.
