Zahir Jaffer completes polygraph, forensic tests

The man accused of murdering Noor Mukaddam, Zahir Jaffer, has undergone a polygraph and other forensic testing on Friday at the Punjab Forensic Science Agency in Lahore as part of the investigation into the brutal crime.

The tests included verifying his statements and collecting plus examining evidence related to the murder. This includes all the data retrieved from his phone and all the CCTV footage of his house.

The laboratory is also examining evidence collected from Noor's autopsy.

Mukaddam was beheaded on July 20 in Islamabad. Jaffer was arrested for the crime and is expected to be produced in court today, July 31.

According to a report in Dawn, investigating officer of the case Inspector Abdul Sattar said the lab conducted about 25 tests were conducted at the PFSA.

He did not know when the police would receive the results.
