COVID-19: Pakistan reports 3,669 cases, 20 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan on Monday has reported 3,669 new cases and 20 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.

According to statistics shared by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, 43m498 coronavirus tests were taken, 3,669 new confirmed cases were registered, and 20 deaths were reported countrywide in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 33,070 active cases and 2,423 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted at different hospitals in the country.

With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed cases stands at 630,471. Pakistan has so far recorded 13,863 coronavirus-related deaths, and a total of 583,538 patients have recovered from the novel disease.

As per the provincial breakdown of active cases, Punjab currently has 15,360 active cases, Sindh 5,081, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa 5,500, Balochistan 198, Gilgit Baltistan 13, Islamabad 5,905, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir has 1,013 active cases of COVID-19.
