As global coronavirus cases exceed 98.4 million and virus-related deaths exceed 2.1 million, we take a look at the countries that have reported more than 2 million cases so far.
It's been over a year since the world saw the first Coronavirus case and almost every country is still struggling to contain this lethal bug. This pandemic has certainly exposed the shortcomings in global health infrastructure and also the political unwillingness to care for public healthcare.
Of all the countries, the United States has been hit worst, reporting over one-quarter of the global cases alone. India, Brazil, and several European nations are also still reeling from the deadly disease.
According to the latest coronavirus reports by the Johns Hopkins University, ten countries have reported over two million infections so far. These are as follows:
