For the past few weeks, COVID-19 is rampant in Pakistan. This second wave is proving to be deadlier than the first one. Just yesterday, 50 people succumbed to the viral disease in the country and 3,047 new infections were recorded.
The government is pleading with the public to follow SOPs put in place by local authorities to contain the coronavirus. Yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan once again appealed to the nation to wear face masks in social gatherings.
