ISLAMABAD: Expressing satisfaction over economic stability, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to continue measures for improvement.
Addressing the federal cabinet meeting, PM Imran Khan said that it was a good sign that Moody s had stabilized the outlook for the country s economy.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the ongoing operation against the land mafia. He also directed to continue the operation against land mafia.
In addition, the cabinet has approved an extension of the suspension period for pilots with dubious licenses.
The Cabinet was also briefed on outsourcing of major airports in the country and encroachments on Margalla Road. The Federal Cabinet approved the appointment of MD of Pak-Arab Oil Refinery.
The meeting has postponed the issue of granting immunity to the persons included in the fourth schedule list of the four provinces.
The extension of the contract of the chairman of the National Industrial Relations Commission has also been approved.
In addition, the reconstitution of the Board of Export Development Fund was approved. The decisions of the ECC meeting on July 28 and the decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Energy on July 30 have also been ratified.
