With the United States in the post-election political turmoil, the country is facing multiple challenges at the moment. The toughest battle though is still the Covid-19 and its devastating consequences on the public health and economic sectors.
In the last 24 hours, a staggering 233,513 new coronavirus cases and 3,738 new deaths were reported in the US. Both of these tallies were, by far, the highest in the world. It's no surprise as the country is the worst hit by the novel coronavirus among all the nations.
According to the website "Worldometers", the latest Covid-19 statistics of the US are as follows:
Total Cases: 21,586,561
New Cases (last 24 hours): 233,513
Total Deaths: 365,859
New Deaths (last 24 hours): 3,738
