Turkey says the practices in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir since annulment of the Indian constitution's Article that accords special status to Jammu and Kashmir has further complicated the situation there and have not contributed to the peace and stability in the region.

In a statement, Spokesperson of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hami Aksoy said the Kashmir issue should be resolved through dialogue within the framework of the UN Charter and relevant UN resolutions.
