ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan says the government has announced unprecedented incentive package for construction sector to give impetus to economic process and promote various industries linked to this sector.

He was chairing a meeting of the National Coordination Committee for Housing, Construction, and Development in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Prime Minister said the package will also help materialize the dream of people with low income to have a house of their own.

He said the government is determined to simplify the system in this regard so that maximum people can benefit from this scheme.

Imran Khan directed all chief secretaries to present an action plan by next week to introduce an online system regarding the construction sector.

The Prime Minister instructed to utilize information technology at all levels in the construction sector to expedite and simplify the system.
