ISLAMABAD: The wife of Supreme Court judge Justice Faez Isa on Thursday reached the FBR office in connection with the notice sent to her for explaining the income sources and other related details, as she submitted a detailed response to the officials in that connection, sources said.

Earlier, the FBR had posted a notice at the residence of Justice Faez Isa to appear in person.

In light of the Supreme Court verdict in the case, whereby the matter was forwarded to FBR, the office of Commissioner Inland Revenue and International Taxes Zone served notices to Justice Faiz Isa's wife, Zarina Isa, his daughter Sehar Isa and son Arsalan Isa last week.

Justice Faiz Isa's wife appeared in person before the commissioner in Islamabad today, where she was asked more than 20 questions pertaining to the family’s London properties.

In her response to the queries, she said that the money for the properties was sent abroad through a legal banking channel.
