An army soldier was martyred while five terrorists were killed in the exchange of firing at check-post in Miran Shah, military’s media wing stated.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Hawaldar Akbar Hussain, age 43, resident of Dir Kot embraced martyrdom and three other soldiers were injured in exchange of firing at Miran Shah, a city in North Waziristan.
The terrorists attacked the check-post located ten kilometers away from Miran Shah.
In response, security forces retaliated effectively and five terrorists were killed on spot.
