Sindh reported 41 new coronavirus cases on Monday taking the number of confirmed cases in the province to 76 and the national tally to 94.
The new cases were confirmed by Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab in a tweet.
More results have come in. So far 50 people who had arrived in Sukkur from Taftaan have tested positive, 25 at Karachi & 1 at Hyderabad. So the total patients have reached 76 in Sindh. Out of these 76 patients, 2 have recovered & the remaining 74 are being kept in isolation

Wahab said on Sunday after 14 pilgrims who had arrived from Taftan were tested positive.
Pakistan saw the biggest jump in its tally of coronavirus cases so far as 20 more people were diagnosed with the disease in the country on Sunday.
According to details, 35 patients were from Sindh, 10 from Balochistan, 4 from Islamabad, 3 from Gilgit-Baltistan and one person in Lahore.
according to Murtaza Wahab, the Sindh government spokesperson, the patient belongs to Balochistan and reached Karachi last night. This new confirmed case of the infection has pushed the total number of cases to 35 in the province. Out of the total coronavirus patients in Sindh, two have recovered, Murtaza Waha said.
“One more case has tested positive of coronavirus in Sindh. As per the available information, the patient originally belongs to Baluchistan and had reached Karachi last night. So the total number of patients in Sindh has now reached 35 out of which to have recovered,” Murtaza Wahab said.
Meanwhile, the 18th meeting of Taskforce on Coronavirus was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister house.
The meeting was informed that 18 more cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Sindh, of them 13 from Sukkur quarantine center and one patient came from Quetta. The number of cases has reached to 35 in Sindh.
This was disclosed in the 18th meeting of Taskforce on Coronavirus held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah here at the CM House.
The meeting was attended by provincial ministers, Dr Azra Pechuho, Syed Nasir Shah, Advisor Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah, IG Sindh Mushtaq Maher, PSCM Sajid Jamal Abro, Home Secretary Usman Chachar, Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shahlwani, Secretary Finance Hassan Naqvi, Secretary Health Zahid Abbasi, DG PDMA, representatives of airport services, civil aviation, FIA, 5 Corps and rangers.
In a briefing to the chief minister, it was revealed that 40 samples of pilgrims arrived at Sukkur quarantine Center were tested in Karachi. Out of 40 samples, 13 samples were diagnosed as positive. The chief minister directed Commissioner Sukkur and Dr. Bhatti of Gambat hospital to segregate the positive patients from the negative. "Those who are being diagnosed as serious should be shifted to Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences," he issued clear directives.
It is to mention here that the first positive case of coronavirus has also been detected in Lahore.
A private laboratory that conducted the tests for the diagnosis declared the individual as infected.
