Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the skill development ‘Hunarmand Pakistan’ program today.
PM Imran Khan approved to launch the largest skill development program in the country's history, during his meeting with Special Assistant Usman Dar and Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood.
A significant amount of Rs 30 billion has been allocated for the project, while the program was developed on the recommendations of the National Skills Strategy Task Force.
The project aims to provide practical and vocational training to the youth in the most demanded and highly employable high-tech trades and emerging technologies to enable them to seek employment in the national and international markets. Teacher training, smart labs, business incubation centers will be set up under the program.
It is pertinent to remember that Prime Minister Imran Khan has also allocated 100 billion for the 'Kamyab Jawan' program.
