LAHORE: Lahore High Court on Wednesday allowed the anti-government protest on Lahore's Mall Road with the condition of winding up the gathering by midnight.
A three-member bench of the LHC gave the ruling after hearing a petition filed by the traders of the Mall Road against Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) protest.
During the proceeding, the Punjab government presented its report regarding the protest in the court.
According to which, the protesters should not choose Mall Road, as Section 144 was in place in the area which forbids gathering of more than four people at one place.
