Web Desk: Facebook will now punish posts that beg for likes and comments to boost their presence on social media.

Facebook said on Monday that some pages asked their fans to like share, comment or perform other action on their contect to boost the reach and get others who are not following them to see their content. But now Facebook new tact is to penalize them. They will do that by ‘demoting’ posts from people. Means post that use this tactics will be shown less in News Feed.

Facebook will also use ‘Stricter demotions’ on pages that ignore its reprisals and continue to post engagement bait.
