KARACHI:Three men and a youth were shot and injured by robbers during mugging in Sohrab Goth of the metropolis on Wednesday.

According to rescue sources, two unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle tried to loot a 41-year-old Gulzar, 40-year-old Saleem, 35-year-old Abdul Malik and Rizwan, aged 24 in Sohrab Goth along Jamali Bridge, but they offered them resistance. As a result, the muggers shot and injured them.

Later, an angry mob caught one of the robbers and beat him up, while other managed to fled.

The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.-PPI
