A study published in the Journal JMIR Mental Health says that when people suffers from mental and emotional problems, should use mental healthcare apps.
Associate Professor at Brigham Young University in Utah said, “Our findings show that mental and emotional health-focused apps have the ability to positively change behaviour,â€
He added, “This is great news for people looking for inexpensive, easily accessible resources to help combat mental and emotional health illness and challenges.â€
The study showed that mental healthcare apps could increase motivation, confidence, intention and attitudes.
