Chakwal: PML (N)’s leader Hamza Shahbaz said on Saturday that Sharif Family faced hardest accountability of General Parvez Musharaf and military dictator was failed to prove any case against us.
''Insha’Allah Presently Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is appearing before the courts and Insha’Allah Sharif Family would emerge innocent and charges leveled against us would be proved baseless''. But the accountability must be across the board but recently one side accountability would not be acceptable to the nation and if justice is there it must be seen on the ground and 210 million people of Pakistan are watching the present accountability with great concern,he added.
He was talking to the media after offering Fateha Khawani with MNA Begum Iffat Liaqat on the death of her husband MPA Chaudhary Liaqat Ali Khan. Ch. Haider Sultan and ShahrYar the sons of the deceased MPA were also present on this occasion.
Hamza Shahbaz responding to another question was of the view that all the political parties must have to exercise their responsibilities and the coming general election must not be delayed and the people of Pakistan must be given opportunity to elect their representative on their own choice. He further told that democracy and political process is the future of Pakistan and it must not be hindered by any unconstitutional means.
Hamza Shahbaz further told that PML (N) had served the masses from the last 4 and half years, PML (N) is united under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Nawaz Sharif and if there is any slightly difference of opinion among the party but ultimately the people who are expecting any disintegration in the ranks of PML (N) would be ashamed. Hamza Shahbaz paid rich tribute to Ch. Liaqat Ali Khan and termed his death a big party loss to PML (N).
He told that Ch. Liaqat Ali Khan was our family member. Earlier Hamza Shahbaz reached Chakwal with full security arrangements and no one was allowed to enter into the house of MPA and after staying half hour Hamza Shahbaz left Chakwal for Mureed Airport where his special aircraft was landed when Hamza Shahbaz came to Chakwal. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Umar Jahangir, DPO M. Haroon Joyia and Chairman Distt. Council Tariq Aslam Dhulli received Hamza Shahbaz at Mureed Airport.—PPI
