KARACHI: On the directives of Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar on Tuesday the Department of Municipal Service of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) dengue and malaria control program will start the sixth phase of spray campaign in KMC areas from 13th November till 20 November.

Akhtar directed KMC’s municipal services to start the insecticide spray campaign as soon as possible; however, the department decided to start spray campaign from 13th November.

Manual hand spray will be held in such areas where fogging vehicles could not reach.

He said that the aim of this spray is to provide protection to the citizens from diseases and viruses. At least 50 vehicles will participate to spray in the spray that would be carried out in evening.-PPI
