Karachi Rangers, police recovers 51 stolen cars

 

 

KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies (LEA) recovered 51 snatched cars used in criminal activities across Pakistan, Commander Rangers Sachal, Brigadier Naseem said on Saturday.

Addressing a press conference in SITE area, Brigadier Naseem said that the Rangers and Sindh police in joint search operation recovered a stolen car from two suspects, Qazi Munib Ahmed Siddiqui and Muhammad Sheraz Sheikh, custody from Nazimabad area.

During further interrogations the accused reveled about a gang involved in selling and using stolen and snatched cars in different parts of the country, the brigadier said.

In the light of this information, an operation was conducted by a team comprising Rangers and Sindh Police personnel which recovered 51 stolen cars.

This is the biggest recovery operation of stolen vehicles in the country’s history, and soon the cars would be returned to their owners.—PPI
