KARACHI: At least 204 more dengue fever cases were detected in Karachi city from October 24 to October 30, 2017, taking the number of reported cases to 1,930 in the city since 1st January 2017.

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, as many as 204 new dengue fever cases surfaced in the city during the week and a total 705 cases were reported throughout Sindh province this month so far.

In Karachi, 1,930 cases have been reported throughout the city. A total 11 people including seven males and four females have already died of the dengue fever in the city this year so far.

A total 1,949 dengue fever cases were reported in Sindh province so far, out of them 1,930 in Karachi and 19 in the rest of the province.—PPI
