The first computer of the Greeks
A sort of device, Antikythera mechanism was firstly considered as world's first computer. To your surprise, it was found on a sunken ship back in 80-50 B.C. However, its purpose was unknown until recently scientists have discovered that it was a navigation device.
The lost army of Cambyses II
It was 524 B.C. when the army of Persian King Cambyses II fought against Ethiopians. Over 50,000 were prepared to conquer the oases, but suddenly all soldiers were vanished and legend was remained. However, scientists Angelo and Alfredo Castiglioni have successfully solved the mystery. It thirteen years of hard work it was figured out that the army was disappeared but was killed by a violent sandstorm.
The whale graveyard in Chile
It was bizarre to learn about a whale graveyard in the mid of desert of Atacama, Chile. It was difficult to investigate what caused the deaths of whales. After keen research, it was learnt that those whales were died in different time periods and the very first incident was happened some 20,000 years ago. Also, flowering of toxic algae was the reason behind it.
"Wandering" rocks in Death Valley
It was said that anyone who saw stones in California's death valley, felt their skin crawling. It happened because they seemed to move once a person turned away from them. It was surely bizarre to learn but there wasn't any explanation given. Later, Ralph Lorenz ice shell forms around the stones during winter, When the ice defrost, rocks begin to glide due to wind.
The disappearing grave of Richard III
A private entrepreneur was brought a monastery where Richard III was buried. He thrown his corpse into the river and demolished his grave. However, scientists from Leicester University started a project to find out his grave. They project was successful and it was confirmed by the DNA that founded remains were of Richard III.
