These five horrific air incidents will give you goosebumps

WEB DESK: The word 'incident' is horrifying enough to give goosebumps to anyone. And, here we are recalling extreme air incidents that have occurred. These incidents took any many innocent lives and gave painful moments for their loved ones. 

Superga Air Disaster (1949)

Air crash of a Colombian plane which was carrying Brazilian soccer team, was indeed the traumatic incident in the world of soccer. Unfortunately, it wasn't happened first time. As back in 4th May, 1949, Italy's legendary II Grande Torino team was on their way back from the game in Lisbon when this unfortunate incident occurred.

Mt. Erebus Disaster (1979)

It was a regular flight in a regular day when ANZ 901 left News Zealand and began to fly over Antarctica. However, the pilot changed the route without informing crew and they met an incident. According to reports, around 257 killed onboard. And, a horrifying fact that linked to crash is that 34 bodies were never found.

 

Stockport Air Disaster (1967)

In 1967, a British Midland flight was returning from Majorca, Spain and met the incident. It was terrible as the plane was plunged into a residential area. And as reported by people on board, it was close over houses and passengers could be seen. The unfortunate airplane was then slammed into a garage and explode.

Japan Airlines Flight 123 (1985)

It was one of the horrendous incidents and would be remembered till long as it killed 520 people. It occurred when two plane crashed and immediately turned into flames.

The Freckleton Air Disaster (1944)

It happened back in August, 1944. It was indeed a terrible incident but the saddest fact interlinked to it that it did not get media attention as 61 people who died in the crash, were not worthy enough.
