JIT findings: SC not received any objection by Sharifs

ISLAMABAD: Sharif family has not raised any objection over the findings of joint investigation team in Panama Papers case before the Supreme Court till Saturday.

A three-member bench led by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, formed for implementation of the apex court verdict in Panama Papers case, while providing the JIT report copies to all parties of the case on July 10 had asked them to file replies by July 17.

Meanwhile, the bench which is scheduled to hear the case on July 17 had also issued directives to Attorney General for Pakistan Ashtar Ali Ausaf to submit transcripts of speeches of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique, Talal Chaudhry and Asif Kirmani.

All the leaders allegedly tried to malign the apex court through their speeches during 60 days investigation of the JIT in Panama Papers case.

The Attorney General Office confirmed on Saturday that a total of 106 pages of 15 speeches of the three leaders have been submitted with the apex court during the course of the day.
