WEB DESK: Crossing cemetery at night is the most scary thing for a person. But, some people actually enjoy these creepy and horror stuff. They visit haunted places purposely and try to find out ghosts. If you are one of those then this list of creepiest cemeteries around the world will surely excite you. 

Sedlec Ossuary - Kutná Hora

This place is located in  Czech Republic. Sedlec Ossuary is the largest church which has over 40,000 former bodies. It is said that late Catholics from central Europe were brought to this place to be buried together but even after it expansion, the place was unable to hold all the bodies. Then, a woodcarver, František Rint was hired back in 1870 to arrange all the bones in order. He skillfully arranged skeletons, even crafted a massive chandelier along with a family crest from the deceased bones. However, it is said that these ghost that roam around are more playful and not much haunting.

Cimitero di San Michele - Venice

Occupying the entire island of San Michele, the Cimitero di San Michele cemetery in Venice, became the main burial ground for Venetians after the ban imposed by Napoleon on burying bodies in the city back in 1807. Also, different ghosts have been reported on the graveyard island, however not a single ghost has been identified individually.

Howard Street Cemetery - Salem

Those, who are familiar with US history know the incident linked to this place that once witch trials used to be practiced in Salem, Massachusetts in 17th century. A man, named Giles Corey, was tortured to death by local sheriffs. After that every sheriff died of a heart attack or due to any heart disease. It is said Corey's ghost roam around this cemetery before any major tragedy.
