Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has also hailed the new Federal Budget terming it an agenda for economic revival, resolving energy crisis, promoting investment and boosting agriculture sector.
Addressing a news conference after the budget LCCI President Abdul Basit said increase in allocations for water and power projects would help get rid of energy crisis.
LCCI members said funds for infrastructure development would also attract foreign investment.
They welcomed supportive measures for agriculture, poultry, textile sectors and human resource development.

A leading Industrialist Siraj Kassam Teli said the relief measures announced in the budget will be helpful in achieving the export target.
A prominent businessman Zubair Moti Wala said no burden has been put on the common man in the budget.
