ISLAMABAD : The puppet authorities disallowed the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, to see his doctors who have advised him to undergo some routine medical tests and calibration of pacemaker.

According to KMS, the APHC spokesman, Ayaz Akbar, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Syed Ali Gilani is suffering from multiple ailments and it is a routine checkup to monitor the functioning of pacemaker which was fixed ten years back.

He said that date, time and venue for the routine checkup of the APHC Chairman were fixed with specialists at the SMHS hospital in Srinagar. "However, police informed us that they have received directives from their higher ups and didn't allow Syed Ali Gilani to go for medical consultation," he said.

The spokesman said, the matters related to cardiac issues are sensitive and it is like playing with the life of the APHC Chairman. "There is no constitutional or moral justification for this. It is sheer bullying and state terrorism," he added.-APP
