According to the Committee for Islamic Research and Fatawaa, Majmooh Al-Fatawaa by Ibn Baz and Fatawaa Ramazan by Ibn Al-Uthaymeen, the following most frequently asked questions in Ramazan about prohibited practices during fasting have been answered.

1. Does a nose bleed break your fast?

Verdict: No.
Condition: As long as it is not done intentionally.

2. Does having a blood test break your fast?

Condition: As long as you’re not giving blood in a large amount.

3. If you have to get your tooth removed, will it break your fast?

Condition: As long as the blood is less than the amount of cupping.

4. Does brushing your teeth break your fast?
