HAFIZABAD: Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar on Monday said that all out resources were being utilised to complete ongoing public welfare projects speedily to resolve problems of the masses.
Reviewing construction of Sheikhupura road near Kassoki by-pass, she directed XEN PHED to ensure completion of the project at the earliest.
She also directed that no compromise should be made on quality of work and warned that those found using inferior quality material would be taken to task.
The XEN assured the minister that one portion of the road would be completed during this week while the other one within next fortnight.
Later, the minister visited Municipal Committee and reviewed people's complaints regarding civic services particularly insanitation and encroachments, and assured their resolution.
She said that special measures were being taken to improve sanitary conditions and removal of encroachments with the cooperation of citizens and traders.
She directed the councilors to resolve problems of masses at the earliest.
