Pakistan has expressed its resolve to extend cooperation with Japan in different fields including trade, investment and development.
The resolve came during a meeting of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Nobuo Kishi in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan is keen to carry forward the shared vision of promoting peace, prosperity and development of our people.
He noted that Japan is a key development partner of Pakistan and a number of important development projects in Pakistan have been completed with Japan’s assistance and support.
Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan offers great investment opportunities in various sectors that can be utilized by Japanese investors.,
The Japanese Minister thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome accorded to him and his delegation and expressed the hope to further strengthen Japan – Pakistan bilateral relations.
