WEB DESK: The all rounder of national cricket team, Shahid Khan Afridi has refused offers of farewell due to his commitments. He thanked former Executive Committee Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the meeting and farewell offers.Â
On Friday, Boom boom posted a tweet on his official twitter which reads, thank you for the meeting and farewell offers @najamsethi. Unfortunately due to my commitments I won't be able to take them.Â

Former Captain more added that my desire was to set a new trend. I'm very happy that Misbah &Younis are getting proper farewells. I hope this trend will continue in future.

Whereas, reacting to Afridi's decision, former Executive Committee Chairman PCB updated, we respect Shahid Khan Afridi's decision not to play Farewell match. And announced that PCB will organize a grand farewell for him like Misbah and Younas.Â

Earlier this month, the news was circulating that PCB will arrange a grand farewell match for former captain but in recent tweets the all rounder has refused the offers.
