Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz on Thursday has said that Indian steel and mining tycoon Sajjan Jandal is an old friend of her father and there is "nothing secret" about the meeting between the two.

"Mr. Jindal is an old friend of the Prime Minister. Nothing 'secret' about the meeting & should not be blown out of proportion. Thank you," she tweeted, as the controversy refuses to die down.-Business Recorder
