ISLAMABAD: Two unidentified men allegedly robbed a female Canadian Senator Salma Attaullah Jan  in Islamabad's F6 area on Tuesday night, Aaj News reported. 

According to the reports, she was robbed of cash, a black pearl necklace and her ID cards along with other documents.

Two unidentified men approached her on a motorcycle. When she was getting into her car near F6 Markaz, the men grabbed her handbag and fled, prompting Jan to register a First Investigation Report (FIR).

Salma reportedly belongs to a political family, appointed as Canadian senator in 2010.
