ISLAMABAD: Pakistan fully supports every effort for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
This was stated by Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria in an interview in Islamabad on Sunday.
He said Pakistan is in the favour of Afghan-led dialogue and all stackholders in Afghanistan should come together to resolve disputed matters.
In reply to a question he said Indian request for counselor access to its spy Kulbhushan Yadev was denied due to his involvement in espionage and terror activities in Pakistan.
He said Pakistan is not bond for such access according to Vienna convention and any other agreement between Pakistan and India.
Nafees Zakaria said Pakistan has approached several times for counselor access to over sixty Pakistanis detained in Indian prisons, but India has refused the access.
He said Kulbhushan has confessed his involvement in terror financing and destabilizing Pakistan supporting terror activities in Karachi and Baluchistan.
He urged United Nations and international community to put pressure on India to implement UN resolutions on Kashmir to resolve the issue peacefully. -Radio Pakistan
