KARACHI: Dr. Asim Hussain to travel abroad for medical treatment, Anti-terrorism court permitted today on Saturday, Aaj News reported.Â
According to reports, the anti-terrorism court has given permission to Dr. Asim to go abroad and come back within two weeks.
Sources revealed that the court has also canceled the notification in regard to inclusion of Dr. Hussain's name in Exit Control List (ECL).
The Former Petroleum Minister has asked anti terrorism court to keep his hospital as a surety but grant him permission to travel, reportedly.
Sources further states the Minister has now permitted to travel abroad after submitting Rs 2 million as a surety bond.
It is pertinent here to mention that Dr. Hussain was released in the following month after 19 months of imprisonment and was taken into Rangers custody back on 26 August 2015.
