CHARSADDA: At least one policeman got severely injured in an attack on census team in Charsadda today (Tuesday), Aaj News reported.Â
According to police, the team was busy in census amid tight security in Harichand area when unidentified armed man opened firing and hurt police official Taj Mohammad.
In retaliatory fire, Â suspect Fakhar Alam got wounded who was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for medical assistance.
According to Asst. Commissioner Muhammad Ali, local government has announced Rs 50,000 for injured police officer.
