LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) Wednesday announced that there will be no electricity load-shedding on March 4 and 5 in connection with final match of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
LESCO Chief Executive Officer Syed Wajid Ali Kazmi issued directives in this regard to all officers concerned and field staff, according to Company's spokesman here.
Special Maintenance and Technical (M&T) teams for 11KV construction and operation would ensure uninterrupted power supply from 132KV grid stations located in Shadman Colony and Garden Town, he mentioned.
In addition, he said, special teams have also been constituted for continuous electricity supply to Qaddafi Stadium, the venue of PSL final. Extra transformers and related accessories would be in instant access to cope with any emergency, he added.
He also made it clear that there would not be any kind of power shutdown on March 5, 2017.
The spokesman said that Superintending Engineer (South Circle) Zahid Saleem has been entrusted the task of management, monitoring and any other necessary action for uninterrupted electricity supply to Qaddafi Stadium.
General Manager (Operation) Asghar Raza Chaudhry would be focal person of the PSL event from LESCO.
