ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry has placed the name of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and 37 other active members of the organization on Exit Control List (ECL).Â
The government of Punjab placed JuD chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed under the house arrest on January 30, following the directives of the Ministry of Interior.
Sources said the ministry has forwarded a letter to all provincial governments and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in this regard. The letter says that names of the JuD chief and 37 other individuals have been placed on the ECL.
The Interior Ministry also placed the Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and passports of these 38 individuals on the Black List, they said.
