A case was filed on Thursday against father of Facebook star Qandeel Baloch over turning back from his statement in the murder case of his daughter.
An investigation officer has filed case against Baloch's father Mohammad Azeem under Section 213 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) in Chehleek Police Station over defecting from his statement against suspect Aslam Shaheen in the murder case.
It should be noted that Shaheen was nominated in the murder case by Baloch's father. Police has formed teams for the arrest of Azeem. Internet celebrity Qandeel Baloch was strangulated to death allegedly by her brother in Multan last year.
Her brother Mohammad Waseem said she had brought shame to the family and had confessed to his crime in a press conference after his arrest.
