MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says PML-N is pursuing policy of reconciliation in the greater interest of the country and they still believe in Charter of democracy, Aaj News reported.Â
Addressing budget session of AJK Council in Muzaffarabad on Thursday, he said this policy is also visible in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Democracy is to tolerate each other, he added.
He further said, “We cannot do much if anyone does not adhere to the Charter of Democracy (COD)â€.
The Prime Minister thanked people of Azad Kashmir for reposing confidence in PML (N) in the last elections, and said the party is committed to serve the masses without any discrimination.
He said Azad Kashmir has great potential to develop and every effort will be made to exploit this potential. He said there is great scope for initiating hydel power projects in Azad Kashmir. He said investors from Azad Kashmir would also be welcomed and facilitated if they invest in such projects.
