WEB DESK: Bollywood's king, Shah Rukh Khan has given an honest answer when asked why he has not won the National Award up till now? 

According to indianexpress.com, Shah Rukh Khan, the most shinning star of Indian film industry who has won billions of hearts through his acting says he did not achieved it yet simply because he did not deserve it.

"If I didn’t get it, I didn’t deserve it. It’s as simple as that", said Khan.

It is surely an honest statement came from an actor who lives among hearts. Khan further said, he has not performed up to the standard which let him gain the National award but the actor is still hopeful to get one in his career and for which he works hard.

Also, while speaking to the launch of an Indian Academy Awards at US Consulate in Mumbai, King Khan made it clear that 'Oscar' should not be a benchmark for the Bollywood actors adding,"We have to create our own benchmark."
