WEB DESK: Once not paying with cash but use debit cards instead was the cool thing. However, the future has something more big as people will pay for groceries with their faces.Â
Paying without cash was more convenient but it will become even more easy when you will only need your face to pay.
The Japanese tech giant NEC is trailing a unique technique to pay which is a biometric system that requires facial recognition technology instead of a pin to make a payment verification.
People from multiple Japanese finance companies are taking part in such advanced initiative which was started earlier this month and will end in 30th January 2017.
NEC is not the only company who is bringing advanced initiative. Earlier this year, Visa introduced a connected car which made payment by communicating with the chips in gas pumps and parking metres.
The NeoFace identification system is"the world's fastest and most accurate facial matching product", claims the Japanese tech giant.
The company hopes to make it ready to showoff before the Tokoyo Olympics in 2020.
