Investigations opened against 3 former FBR chairmen, others?

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday opened investigations against three former Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairmen and former collector Ashir Azeem in the record computerisation project.

According to NAB sources, important advancement has been made into the corruption case regarding the record computerisation project.

The inquiry against three former chairmen - Ali Arshad Hakeem, Salman Siddique and Abdullah Yousuf - has been turned into an investigation upon receipt of new evidence.

The three men booked have been accused of awarding the contract to a company against the rules, misusing their powers. Sources told that two former collectors, Mian Azhar and Ashir Azeem, are also nominated in the alleged corruption case.
