Bilawal warns of anti-Nawaz protest campaign

Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned the Nawaz government that he will change his current slogan of "Go Nisar Go" into "Go Nawaz Go" if his four demands are not accepted before December 27.

"I am fed up with what is happening. NAP has failed and Takht-e-Raiwind is not ready even to talk against terrorism, leave aside fighting against terrorism," PPP Chairman said addressing the PPP's Foundation Week celebrations organised by PPP South Punjab, here.

Many thousands of the PPP's workers from different parts of South Punjab who attended the celebrations raised full-throated slogans to welcome Chairman Bilawal to the tunes of folk music of Cholistan and other parts of Wasaib. Bilawal said that National Action Plan was replaced with the Noon-league Action Plan and now ended up as Nakaam-league Action Plan.

"I am the grandson of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, son of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and don't forget that I am a nephew of Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shaheed Shahnawaz Bhutto also," he said. He also repeated his four demands which included parliamentary national scrutiny committee, passage of Panama papers leaks inquiry bill proposed by the PPP together with other political parties, implementation of resolution about CPEC passed unanimously by an All Parties Conference presided over by former President Asif Ali Zardari and appointment of a full fledged Foreign Minister.

Bilawal accused the ruling PMLN of splurging the international funds on the Orange Line project in Lahore even though the world allocated those funds for Balochistan, KPK and Sindh. He urged the government that these funds should be spent on health, education and eliminating poverty not on lavish facilities.

"Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto laid down her life fighting the terrorists but Takht-e-Raiwind and its cronies are not even talking against terrorists, let alone fighting against them," he said, adding that Go Nisar Go slogan was being raised from Takht-e-Lahore instead of Sindh, Balochistan, South Waziristan or elsewhere. Bilawal warned that "Go Nisar Go" would change into "Go Nawaz Go" if all the four demands were not accepted before December 27, the martyrdom day of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
