ISLAMABAD: A rousing welcome was accorded to Turkish President when he arrived in Islamabad on a two-day visit to Pakistan on Wednesday evening.Â
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Kalsoom Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz warmly welcomed the Turkish President and first lady at Nur Khan Airbase Rawalpindi.
Two children attired in cultural dress of Pakistan presented bouquet to the visiting dignitary.
Federal Ministers, Chief Minister Punjab, diplomats and high officials were also present on the occasion.
A high-level entourage including Ministers, senior officials and a large number of business community members are accompanying the Turkish president.
The Turkish President is also scheduled to address the Joint Session of Parliament on Thursday.
President Erdogan will also travel to Lahore, where the Prime Minister will host a banquet in the honour of visiting dignity at Shahi Fort.
