Expectations are on the rise as Apple Inc is anticipated to launch the next generation of Macbooks at an event on 27 October. The conglomerate has already sent out invitations with a color Apple logo with the words ‘Hello Again’.
The new computers are said to have a wide array of changes to the older models, amidst those are touch-sensitive OLED strips replacing the old function keys atop the keyboard; a touched sensor, a sleek new body design and a move to the new reversible USB-C.
The Macbook Pros have not been updated since May 2015, other than a minor upgrade including better ram, battery life and a trackpad. The big unveiling is also just in time for the full holiday sale season.
The much awaited-for event is to take place around Apple’s Cupertino campus as opposed to the San Francisco venue where the iPhone 7 announcement took place.
Apple has given no statements in regards to the matter.
