India not serious in resolving Kashmir issue, says Raheel Sharif

Pakistan’s Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Monday said India is not serious to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

While addressing US CENTCOM Conference in Germany today, he said terrorists could move across borders because of no effective border management systems in place.

“This is exploited by the anti-Pakistan intelligence agencies such as RAW.”

Sharif said that a stable Afghanistan is a guarantee to a peaceful and stable region, adding “peace in Afghanistan could be achieved through a comprehensive and coordinated strategy.”

The army chief said Pakistan is making all out efforts to eliminate terrorism.

“The armed forces defeated the terrorists as well as their ideology with the support of the nation.”

Pakistan suffered the most by terrorism losing lives more than any other country in the world, said Sharif.

He said Pakistan armed forces conducted a successful military operation destroying the hideouts and shelters of the terrorists.

“The security forces have been carrying out indiscriminate actions against terrorists, their financiers and abettors across the country.”- Radio Pakistan
