NEW YORK: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday expressed the resolve that war against terror will be taken to its logical end.
While talking to Pakistani journalists here, he said Pakistan security forces and civil society have sacrificed a lot in the war against terrorism.
To a question, he described Indian allegations against Pakistan as the neighbor country's long-time habit.
He said Indian forces have martyred more than one hundred Kashmiris during the recent wave of violence.
‘India is leveling false allegations against Pakistan and has always failed to provide the evidence.’
He said that Indian government should have conducted a thorough probe into the Uri attack before blaming Pakistan for it.
"An investigation should have been held into the incident. Probe into such incidents take several days or weeks. Can you reach to conclusion within 10 to 12 hours? Doing this within no time has caused doubts in every mind."
He said the government was successfully meeting all three challenges including power crisis, economic revival and the elimination of terrorism from the country.
He also claimed to end load shedding in the country in 2018.- Radio Pakistan
